A tightly wrapped, natural peeled rattan frame complements the dense basket weave of the natural, peeled rattan top, side, and double shelves. The soft-close drawer is finished with a wood interior and flower-patterned gold knob.
Rattan is typically harvested from rattan palms, which grow in tropical regions, and the appearance and texture can vary depending on the environment. For example, whether the season was more dry or wet than usual can impact its natural color, and the time of year it’s harvested can affect how it absorbs color. Some might even include small marks of darker shades, leaving each piece with a subtle sense of individuality. These types of variation are why we love utilizing natural materials for our designs; they offer each piece its own hint of character.
